Britany and Bryton’s Spring wedding at The Island House was so beautiful and perfect. These two are such sweet, down to earth people and I’m so glad they chose me to capture their special day. The excitement and joy of their wedding day was contagious from morning preparations to their fun glow stick exit. Britany’s wedding day style included a romantic lace, off the shoulder dress and a bead lined veil while Bryton looked so handsome in a classic navy suit with an ivory tie. Before the ceremony, the bride and groom exchanged letters, the bride shared a first look with her dad, and the bride and groom then shared a first look on the front steps of The Island House. I can honestly say this was one of my favorite Charleston weddings.
The Island House is such a one of a kind venue to photograph and I would love to return there again and again. The patterned wallpaper inside creates a fun backdrop for detail shots and the river views and Tuscan facade outside of the venue makes the perfect backdrop for a romantic, southern wedding day.
To the bride and groom, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I had such a great time getting to know you both and watching you become husband and wife. Cheers to many happy years!
