Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site is located in Summerville, SC and is the original site of the pre-Revolutionary town of Dorchester. The park is an active archaeological site and definitely worth a visit when you’re in the area.

One of this park’s most memorable features is the brick remains of the bell tower of St. George’s Anglican Church. These ruins have been the backdrop to many weddings, portrait sessions, and styled shoots for me.

Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site is a great place to take photos if you’re looking for something unique with a casual outdoor vibe. Let’s try it out together!
