As we’re awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Matthew here in the Lowcountry, I can’t help but reminisce about the recent sunny, warm September days. This post will be mostly personal as September was pretty slow for my business. September held some very exciting personal moments and the trip of a lifetime.

After almost 9 years of dating, Kyle finally popped the question at Middleton Place. It couldn’t have been more perfect. While we won’t be getting married for quite some time, Pinterest boards have already been meticulously organized and put together.
The biggest question I’ve heard so far, of course, is Who will photograph your wedding? Well.. the search is on! Look out for some, potentially funny, blog posts about my wedding planning adventures.
Right after our engagement, I took a once in a lifetime trip to Italy with a group called EF College Break. I didn’t know anyone when I signed up but I left with so many new friends.
We visited Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence, Sienna, Venice, and even did a wine tasting at a Tuscan vineyard. Take me back!!😫
One of my favorite moments of the trip happened the day we arrived in Rome. We all set out into the city to have dinner and while walking around afterwards, we stumbled upon the coliseum and the forum at night. While I’m sure it’s not a hard thing to do, it made for a memorable night.
I will not be traveling in October but will instead be focusing on business, blogs, and of course wedding planning. We get to start venue shopping and thinking about Halloween – I’m sure October will hold just as much excitement.
