Back in May, I was invited to capture Janie and Rudy’s elopement at the beautiful White Point Garden in downtown Charleston, SC. The majestic oak trees and scenic waterfront of White Point Garden provided the perfect setting for Janie and Rudy’s intimate elopement. Inside the gazebo, the couple exchanged vows with happy tears in their eyes.
After their heartwarming ceremony, we made our way through the charming and historic streets of downtown Charleston for their newlywed photos. Janie and Rudy giggled together the entire time and I had a great time getting to know more about the two of them!
One of my favorite details of the day was Janie’s dress – after feeling like the dresses in bridal shops weren’t necessarily for her, she lovingly handcrafted her beautiful gold dress for their elopement. I was so in awe when she told me this and could not stop looking at the beautiful detail she added to it. So talented!
