Hello November

Hey everyone! It’s November and it’s crazy how this year has gone by so fast and so slow all at the same time. October brought some very busy weeks and while sometimes it was really hectic, it’s the kind of normalcy I’ve been craving for months. After months of cancelled and delayed events it was nice to get back out and shoot some weddings and portraits.

In October, I traveled to Savannah for two beautiful elopements. Each couple was so fun to photograph and brought their own unique wedding day style. Elopements have really found a special place in my heart this year as a lot of large weddings have been reconfigured to smaller, more intimate settings. I was lucky enough to take Kyle and Roscoe with me for a weekend in Savannah and we had a great time exploring the city.

To close out the month, I photographed the wedding of one of my sorority sisters from CofC. I hadn’t seen Katie since she moved to Texas for law school but it was so great to reconnect with her. Her bridal style was so chic and I just can’t wait to share all of the beautiful photos from her wedding day!

And of course, we celebrated Halloween! Kyle and I hosted a costume brunch for our immediate family. We spent the day dressed in costume, consuming spooky treats and “boos”, and playing games with our family. I dressed as a fortune teller and Kyle was Wilson from Home Improvement. Roscoe was a little gentleman, as usual.

After a whirlwind October, November has a lot to live up to. Personally this month is special because we are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary on November 10 and our 13th dating anniversary on November 19th. I’m looking forward to celebrating with a photo session at Middleton Place where we got engaged in 2016.

Kyle and I will also be hosting our very first Thanksgiving this month! I’ve dreamed of hosting Thanksgiving for a long time and now that we have a house of our own, we’re going to give it a try.

For Photography By Cameron, family photo season is upon us! Everyone’s preparing to send out their Christmas cards and I’ll be taking a lot of family portraits this month, beginning with my first ever Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions. What better way to start off the holiday season? I can’t wait to explore the Christmas tree farm with so many couples and families!

I’m wishing you all a happy and safe November! It’s filled with so many exciting firsts and celebrations for me and I’m praying for some continued normalcy through the holidays.
