I met up with Eva and Josh just a couple weeks ago for their Downtown Charleston engagement photos. We started out walking on the cobblestones at Chalmers Street and then headed over to Colonial Lake. This was my first time taking photos at Colonial Lake after multiple trips to walk the dog and dreaming about all the gorgeous photos I could take there. I’m so glad Eva and Josh agreed to try out this new location with me, I think it was totally worth it! All of the colorful blooms and Charleston homes in the background made it such a magical spot.
I absolutely loved getting to know Eva and Josh throughout their session. When they arrived they told me they were awkward in front of the camera but I just don’t see it. They have such great chemistry and ease around each other and that’s what is reflected in their photos. They are total naturals! Eva and Josh are planning for a Charleston wedding next fall at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Congratulations you two!
