Whitney and Tim got married in an intimate Cypress Gardens wedding last month and it was the most beautiful day, even though we had to dodge some rain. Their simple, yet romantic wedding day style perfectly complemented the romantic moss and knobby cypress trees at Cypress Gardens.
From the moment we connected on Instagram, I just knew working with Whitney would be so much fun. She and Tim are the sweetest and most genuine people and I’m so thankful they chose me to capture their special day. Finally meeting them in person on their wedding day was just like reconnecting with old friends!
Whitney and Tim opted for a first look and Tim literally howled when he saw his beautiful bride. Both of them were so giddy to see each other! Their ceremony was then held with the swamp as their background and with only their closest family and friends in attendance. The rain graciously held off as they said their I dos and for some romantic row boat photos in the swamp. When the rain started falling after they rowed back to the dock, Cypress Gardens’ butterfly house made the perfect alternative.
Whitney and Tim were such troopers and the rain didn’t diminish their newlywed glow for a second. Whitney’s smile throughout the day was so contagious – I definitely noticed my cheeks hurting from smiling so much while I was editing these.
The biggest congratulations to you, Whitney and Tim! I’m so glad to have been part of your beautiful Cypress Gardens wedding day.
