When Alanna messaged me on Instagram and told me she wanted to take her engagement photos in the row boats at Cypress Gardens, I knew it was going to be a good day! Alanna brought along the cutest parasol and it added the perfect amount of romance to their shoot.
If you’re a fan of The Notebook, this location might seem familiar to you. That’s because Noah and Allie’s scene on the lake was filmed at Cypress Gardens! I think we definitely channeled those vibes.
I had such a blast hanging out with Alanna and Gabe during their session and hearing all about the beautiful lakeside wedding day they are planning back home in upstate New York. I know it will be a magical day! We laughed so much during our shoot and these two were total troopers as we explored the winding paths around the swamp. Thanks Alanna and Gabe for being up for anything and looking so fabulous in the process!

“This was an experience of a lifetime. Gabe and I have never done a photoshoot before and Cameron just made it so easy. She was great at giving us direction on how to pose and we laughed the entire time! She was so fun to shoot with and she captured our love perfectly! She knew my vision of the notebook and light/airy photos and she nailed it! I would recommend her to anyone that is looking to take photos and especially if it’s your first time, she makes you feel so comfortable! I’m over the moon with how all these photos came out and it’s going to be so hard to pick the save the date because I love them all! I know we will treasure these photos for years to come!
