Thinking about having your bachelorette party or bachelorette weekend in downtown Charleston? In my opinion, there’s no better place. Brimming with history, beautiful secret gardens, and booming night life, there’s never a dull moment. And why not hire a photographer to capture you and your girls on one of your last nights as a single woman? After all, it’s a time you’ll want to remember.
When Carol asked me to photograph her crew, I was glad she did. Hanging out with these guys was so much fun. The afternoon was filled with champagne, giggles, and enjoying the city in all it’s glory. Like with any bride or bride-to-be, walking around with Carol was like walking around with a celebrity.
Here are some highlights from this eventful afternoon.
First, we were invited into The Tavern – America’s oldest liquor store – for a moonshine tasting. Since most of the girls were from other parts of the country, many of them had never tried moonshine. What a fun way to start off our shoot!
Next, we were invited by a Charleston resident to take some photos in their private garden. See! it really is like walking around with a celebrity 🙂 The garden’s beautiful greenery made it such a great place to take some individuals with all of the girls.
After getting some great individual shots, a walk by the water to White Point Gardens was a must. We were able to get some great group shots along the way! How gorgeous are these ladies?
Our final stop included a well deserved rest and a cold glass of Prosecco. We headed over to The Rooftop at the Vendue Inn to toast to the bride-to-be and a great night in Charleston.
